Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about canvas materials, OEM/private label cooperation, custom orders, delivery, and more.

Not sure which canvas fits your needs?

Share your application, material preference, and order quantity. We’ll recommend the best match — before we quote.

What is your MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)?

Our MOQ varies by product,we understand that new partnerships often start small. We accept trial orders below MOQ to help you test our quality before committing to larger volumes. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Can I order samples before placing a bulk order?

Absolutely. We strongly encourage sampling before bulk orders — it’s the best way to verify our quality, feel the texture, and test the printability or paintability of our canvases.

We offer two types of samples:

  • Standard samples: Pre-cut pieces of our most popular canvas types (A4 size). Available upon request.
  • Custom samples: Samples cut to your target specifications (fabric type, gsm, primer),we can prepare these for you.

Simply tell us what you need and we’ll arrange it.

Are samples free?

We offer free standard samples for our regular canvas types. Shipping costs are borne by the customer.

For custom samples (specific fabric/gsm/primer combinations), there may be a small charge to cover material and preparation time — but we’ll deduct this amount from your first bulk order.

What is your lead time?

Our lead time means the production period from order confirmation to shipment ready. It is counted from the date we receive your payment.

Our standard lead time for sample order is 2 days, for bulk orders is 15 working days.

OEM/Private label orders: add 3–7 days for design and packaging customization

If you need a rush order, just let us know – we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What are your delivery terms?

We support multiple Incoterms to meet different customer needs. The most common terms we work with are:

  • EXW (Ex Works): You pick up the goods directly from our factory in Lanxi, Zhejiang. You handle all export procedures, shipping, and costs from this point onward. This gives you maximum control over the entire logistics process.

  • FOB (Free On Board): We deliver the goods to Ningbo or Shanghai port and handle export customs clearance. You arrange and pay for the main shipping and insurance. This is our most popular option — it gives you full control over shipping costs and carriers.

  • FCA (Free Carrier): We deliver the goods to a named place (usually our factory or a forwarder’s warehouse) and handle export clearance. You arrange the main transport from there. This works well when you have a freight forwarder picking up from us.

  • DAP (Delivered at Place): We cover all transport costs to deliver the goods to your named destination — but you are responsible for import duties, taxes, and unloading. You get delivery to your door without us handling customs in your country.

  • DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): We take full responsibility — we handle shipping, import clearance, duties, and taxes, and deliver the goods directly to your door. This is the most convenient option for you, but costs vary by destination country and will be quoted case by case.

If you’re not sure which term suits your order best, just tell us your destination, preferred shipping method, and whether you have a freight forwarder — we’ll recommend the most cost-effective option.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

Yes. We offer volume-based pricing — the larger your order, the better your unit price.Annual volume rebates for long-term partners

For the best rate, send us your estimated annual quantity and we’ll prepare a customized quote.

Can I mix different products in one order?

Absolutely. We encourage mixed orders, tell us your mix and we’ll prepare a combined quote with the best possible pricing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept multiple payment methods to accommodate different order types:

  • T/T (Telegraphic Transfer): Recommended for bulk orders. Cost-effective and reliable.

  • PayPal & Credit Card: Best for sample orders and small-value orders under $500.

Each method has its own advantages. We’ll guide you to the most suitable option based on your order size and preferences.

What is your payment process?

Our standard payment process is straightforward and transparent:

Step 1: Proforma Invoice (PI)
After we confirm your order details (product, quantity, specifications, shipping), we issue a Proforma Invoice with all terms clearly stated.

Step 2: Deposit Payment
Sample orders and small bulk orders require full payment upfront. For large bulk orders, we require a 30% deposit to start production.

We ship your order and provide tracking information. Our after-sales team follows up until you confirm receipt and satisfaction.

Inkjet Canvas
What is the difference between BYB S-series and BYB R-series inkjet canvas?

Our inkjet canvas rolls are divided into two series based on ink compatibility:

  • S-series (Water-based): Designed for water-based inks, including dye, pigment. This series delivers high print accuracy and vibrant colors. It is ideal for indoor applications such as fine art reproductions, posters, and decorative prints.
  • R-series (Eco-solvent): Designed for eco-solvent, solvent, UV, and Latex inks. The coating is formulated to work with solvent-based inks without requiring additional treatment. This series offers better weather resistance and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The key difference is ink compatibility — S-series works with water-based inks, while R-series works with solvent-based inks. Choose based on your printer type and intended application.
